Monday, Monday. The week begins again. So much to do, such a long week ahead. But next week will have that little coda in the middle of the Fourth of July. (Canadian readers get July 1 to celebrate their country) But today still begins a five day work week. The week promises to be warm so don’t forget the sunscreen and to wear light, comfortable clothes so you don’t swelter on your way to and from work or school.
Next weekend in Carson City, Nevada (the capital of Nevada if you didn’t know) is a big food truck event. If you’re going to be in Tahoe or in Reno, take the drive down to Carson City and check it out. There are also some lovely old homes that are part of the history of the state as well as a fun train museum for the kids. Or the kid at heart.
Monday night if you’re near the Caltrain station in San Mateo, you can hit the Urban Table Farmers Market for a food truck meal.
