For some strange reason, the David Bowie song Blue Jean keeps going through my head this morning. Dunno why, but maybe it’s just a denim kind of day. Comfortable, tough, looks good nearly everywhere, dependable. The blue sky that is peeping out at us, a hang over from yesterday, is chilled but not unwanted. Soon enough, we’ll be bathing in the heat of summer.
This morning I found out that I am being let go from my day job. It didn’t pay a whole lot but it fit with my schedule as a blogger and a Mom. It also paid bills. So that kind of sucks to start my week.
